National Park Service & HARLEM WEEK, in association with Harlem Arts Alliance & New Heritage Theatre Group, celebrated the 400th anniversary of Blacks in America, with the theme, Our Culture Matters. Welcome remarks were given by Reverend Dennis Dillion, publisher of The Christian Times, and Jimmy Cleckley, South District Supervisor of the African Burial Ground.

Attendants enjoyed performances by Harlem’s oscar nominated Impact Repertory Theatre, Uptown Dance Academy, & The Harlem Bomb Shelter.
